Božo Černila Appointed New CEO of Trimo

Trebnje, 7 May 2018 — Božo Černila, a manager with extensive experience in international construction companies, is taking over the leadership of Trimo, effective May 1. He is planning to rely on open communication, cooperation, and trust among the employees to attain the Company’s major goal: securing Trimo’s position as one of the most successful Slovenian global brands.
After Maciej Radomski stepped down from his position as Trimo’s CEO due to personal reasons, the former Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Jeffery L. Grady, assumed a temporary role as the Company’s leader until the appointment of a new chief executive. Trimo’s owners, the Innova Capital private equity fund, selected the new leader among the most eminent international and Slovenian managers. On May 1, the position was assumed by Božo Černila. Božo Černila is highly experienced in managing companies and groups of companies involved in construction and operating at an international level. He previously worked for the Wienerberger company, the world’s largest producer of clay building materials, where he managed the Balkan Region and before that, served as Member of the Board for the Adriatic Region. He was also a Member of the Board and the Commercial Director of Lafarge. He began his career at the Velux company. Božo Černila possesses a great range of skills and expertise in sales, marketing, brand building, business organization, corporate restructuring, and, above all, management. Upon taking office, Božo Černila introduced himself to the employees and met with the broader management team and the workers’ representatives. He stressed that open communication, sharing different opinions and knowledge, and feedback are crucial for achieving business excellence. “Together, we will strive for Trimo to become one of the most successful global brands in Slovenia. In terms of financial indicators, our aim is to perform at least as well as the world’s most successful providers of architectural solutions.
