Trimo, the leading manufacturer of building envelope solutions, was approached by Purcell Architects to help construct The Bristol Aerospace Collection Trust’s prestigious new charity project – a new home for the last Concorde made and flown from Filton. Purcell Architects required a solution for a hangar to showcase Concorde 216, forming the centrepiece of an exciting new museum: Aerospace Bristol. Purcell Architects’ initial plans were to use vertically installed panels with a secret fix for the Concorde hangar.
